Welcome to the PCOS Health & Nutrition Centre
Whether you have PCOS yourself, have a friend or family member with this condition or are a health professional caring for women with PCOS, we are here to help you.
At the PCOS Health and Nutrition Centre we are committed to providing information and assistance to women with PCOS and those who care for and about them.
Our aim is to provide a central place for women with PCOS and those involved in their care to obtain all their health and nutrition needs and information, particularly in the areas of healthy eating, exercise and dealing with the emotional and psychological consequences of living with PCOS.
Our knowledge of PCOS and it’s management has increased dramatically over the past decade and we now know that lifestyle changes, including eating well and exercising regularly, can help many women to lose weight, regulate their menstrual cycles and improve fertility. This is where we can help.
Our team of health and exercise professionals are committed to helping you to achieve your goals. Whether you want to improve your PCOS symptoms, lose weight, fall pregnant or improve your long term health and wellbeing, we can help. We will work together and with you to develop a plan individualized to meet your needs and will then provide the information, assistance, motivation and encouragement you need to put this plan into place.
You can also be assured that our team constantly keeps abreast of the latest research in the area of PCOS so that we can incorporate this knowledge into our practice and pass it on to you. Our team is led by Accredited Practicing Dietitian, Kate Marsh, who has been working with women with PCOS for many years. Kate is co-author of The New Glucose Revolution: Managing PCOS and is currently completing her PhD at the University of Sydney, looking at the dietary management of PCOS.
Over time we hope to bring additional services to our centre, so if there is something you feel will help you that we are not already offering, please let us know!
